Biography
Jonathan is a summa cum laude graduate of Wofford College and a graduate of the William & Mary Law School where he was Articles Editor of the William & Mary Law Review. He served as a law clerk to the judges of the Virginia Beach Circuit Court and is a member of the Norfolk-Portsmouth and Virginia Beach Bar Associations, the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. Jonathan has been recognized as a Rising Star by Virginia Super Lawyers and he is co-author of “John Doe Pleadings: Not Just for the Uninsured Motorist Anymore?” published in The Journal of Civil Litigation in 2011.
Jonathan is a past board member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. His current service to the Virginia State Bar includes appointments to the Standing Committee on Professionalism and Client Protection Fund Board.
Jonathan has earned an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, its highest recognition, for his professionalism and ethics.
