Craig received a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University in 1983 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1986. He joined Furniss, Davis, Rashkind and Saunders, P.C. in 1989 where he has defended a wide variety of civil lawsuits for over 20 years. He is co-author of the Virginia Insurance Case Finder, Third Edition, published by Lexis-Nexis Publishing Co. Craig is also co-author of “The New Statute on Experts: Does Virginia Code Section 8.01-401.3 Really Allow Anything New?” published in The Journal of Civil Litigation. He served on the drafting committee of “Principles of Cooperation for Physicians and Attorneys in the Commonwealth of Virginia” (Fourth Edition) promulgated by the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association, and the Medical Society of Virginia. He is a member of the Board of Directors and past president of the Virginia Beach Tennis Patrons Assn., Inc.
Craig is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the Local Government Attorneys of Virginia, the American Bar Association, the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association and the Virginia Beach Bar Association.
