Biography Ben graduated from Virginia Tech in 1998 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office examining patent applications relating to computer display control circuitry. He later worked at Northrop Grumman Newport News where he was co-lead engineer on a major combat and sonar system ship alteration on Seawolf class attack submarines and served as his department’s specialist on electromagnetic interference suppression. While attending the University of Richmond School of Law, Ben served as interns with the Virginia Community College System and the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2006. After graduation, Ben joined the firm of Furniss, Davis, Rashkind & Saunders, P.C. where he has defended a wide variety of civil lawsuits. Ben is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Local Government Attorneys of Virginia. |
